How it works
Orphelins (“orphans”) bets the eight wheel numbers not included in Voisins du Zéro or Tiers du Cylindre: 1, 6, 9, 14, 17, 20, 31, and 34. It fills the gaps between the two main sectors on a European layout.
Betting pattern
Typical 5-chip plan: straight-up on 1; splits 6/9, 14/17, 17/20, and 31/34. At $5 per chip, each spin costs about $25.
Bankroll / drawdown risk
Medium-high. Smaller coverage than Voisins or Tiers, so misses are more frequent. At $5 chips: 5 losses ≈ $125; 10 ≈ $250; 20 ≈ $500.
